TORQ 8 – Compact CNC Lathe with Industrial Ambition
The TORQ 8 is a precise, robust CNC lathe in a benchtop format – developed for production shops, training centres, and demanding model engineers who want to work on a professional level.
Its heavy-duty cast iron frame, backlash-free C5 ball screws and closed-loop stepper motors ensure smooth operation and high repeatability. With a working area of 120 × 300 mm, an 80 mm three-jaw chuck and a powerful 1 kW spindle (up to 6000 RPM), the TORQ 8 is suitable for a wide range of materials – from aluminium and brass to steel.
An integrated spindle encoder enables features like thread cutting and synchronised operations. The machine is controlled by our high-performance Dominator 32-bit controller.
Thanks to its compact footprint (844 × 420 mm) and standard 230 V power connection, the TORQ 8 can be operated flexibly in a wide variety of environments – with no special installation required.
